We analyze the use of lexemes of the semantic field “Kazakhstan” in Karachay-Balkarian literature. For the first time, the AntСonc concordance program was tested on the extensive Karachay-Balkarian text material, and about 2600 occurrences of the corresponding lexemes were found in the analyzed texts. The significant influence of the Central Asian period on the usage of the lexemes of the semantic field “Kazakhstan” is confirmed. The key role of the thankfulness towards Kazakh people in the analyzed contexts is revealed.

Keywords: concordancer, semantic field “Kazakhstan”, deportation, culturomics.
