Gender identity and its influence on the speech production

The relationship between gender identity and speech production is considered in this paper. Men and women from different social groups were asked to write texts on behalf of a man and on behalf of a woman. The characteristics of these texts are classified in two groups: those which cannot be imitated, and those which may be consciously changed according to some gender stereotypes and expectations.
