The article deals with manifestation of cooperative principle in current media discourse in Russia. The objective of the study is to develop and describe a new variant of discourse analysis, sensitive to deviation of cooperative strategy in mass media. The variant of discourse analysis is based on psycholinguistic approach to communication and transaction analysis, created by Eric Bern. The trend in the current interview behaviour is to neglect cooperative principle. The widespread communicative tactic of non-cooperative strategy in interviews is a shift in the topic. The norms of the media communication are transformed under pressure of manipulative discourse, and become very close to ones in every-day-communication.
