The purpose of this study is to consider two poetic texts — “Yesterday, at the sixth hour…” (1848) by N. Nekrasov and “Imitation of Nekrasov N.A.” (1999) by T. Kibirov, to identify the originality of the embodiment of the theme of the poet and poetry (Poet and Muse) in lyrical texts of representatives of various historical and cultural epochs. The main perspectives of the research are: actualization of the author’s intention and comprehension of the tradition of perception of the famous poem by N. Nekrasov “Yesterday, at the sixth hour…” and on this basis — the establishment of the mechanism of parody (pastiche? simulacrum?), actualized in the text-imitation of a modern representative of “Moscow poetic conceptualism”. The scientific novelty of the work consists in the involvement in the analysis of previously not compared poetic texts and in determining the strategies of ironic contact of modern poetry with the classics. As shown in the work, the energy of intersubjective dialogue (more broadly, intertextual dialogism) allows us to detect shifts in semantic spheres and, as a result, to explicate the inversion of existing ideas about the role of the poet and the purpose of the Muse.

Keywords: N. Nekrasov, “Yesterday, at the sixth hour…”, T. Kibirov, “Imitation of Nekrasov N.A.”, the theme of the poet and poetry, the image of the Muse, classics and postmodernism, intertextual dialogism.
