The article discusses the features of the development of a bilingual media environment, which is based on a combination of two nationally determined and interacting with each other cultures and views on the world order. The author reveals the differences between ethnic journalism and ethnic journalism, and then, on the basis of these differences, offers the idea of ethno-oriented journalism, which is formed, developed and operates in Russian in the bilingual cultural space of Sakha-Yakutia. Using the example of the Yakut Russian-language informational online media, the author considers the most characteristic bilingualism phenomena in journalistic texts of these mass media, which confirm his idea that the bilingualism of the mass audience in the regional media space creates a new communicative situation in which the functioning of the media is also undergoing significant changes. According to the author, along with solving traditional key tasks, journalistic texts become a vivid manifestation of bilingualism both of the audience and of the journalists themselves, who, in order to achieve the greatest efficiency, realize bilingualism at the level of forming the information picture of the day in the coordinates of news messages on Saha- Yakutia in Russian.
Keywords: ethno-oriented journalism, bilingualism, media text, media, bilingual media, Sakha-Yakutia, bilingual informational picture of the day.
