Lermontov and Armenian classical poetry. From the history of the study: the problematics and steps

The history of the “Armenian” Lermontov has started since 1840. The translations of his creative works in a new context (social and literary) revealed the sides and the meaningful depths, significant for the Armenian Literature.

The study of the impact and change of the “Lermontov's element” in the creative work of the Armenian poets, revealing of the new sides in their heritage, also gives new accents and measurements in the definition of the international resonance in the creation of Lermontov.
