The phenomena of morphological polysemy and homonymies have been considered by many scientists since antique times. Conditions of functioning of words of one part of speech in a role of words of other part of speech are defined, borders of such use are established, however till now there is no answer to a question, thanks to those reasons the word gets new morphological values and how morphological polysemy passes in a homonymy. The author considers a material of old-Аrmenian language (with use of examples from texts of V century) and the principles are described, which is a reason for the investigated historical experience, and it is possible to consider as one more step to definition of sources of a morphological homonymy in Indo-European languages.
Keywords: morphological, a polysemy, a homonymy, history, Old-Armenian language.
