The work is devoted to the study of the images of the body in Mayakovsky’s lyrics, which provide the key to understanding the deep psycho-ontology of the poet’s lyrical subject. The characteristic features of the images of the body in Mayakovsky’s poetry allow us to speak about the resuscitation in the poet’s lyrics of an ancient plot scheme associated with the image of the body, from the parts of which the world is created. The fixation of the image of the cosmological body in Mayakovsky’s early and post-revolutionary poetry proves that the discovered corporeal model is invariant. The work proves that the ideal Other is the result of the splitting of the lyrical subject of the poet’s pre-revolutionary lyrics, and the images of late cosmological heroes are semantic derivatives of the corporeality model presented in pre-revolutionary poetry. The ‘body plot’ revealed in Mayakovsky’s lyrics received a cognitive-semantic interpretation in the work. It is shown that the body model, being a phenomenological map of the subject, codes his psychological states. Thus, it has been established that the image of exteriorized corporeality is an embodied metaphor of affect, which manifests itself both at the stylistic level (in the system of realized metaphors with a corporeal component) and at the motive-compositional level (in the cosmological plot of the ‘dismembered’ body, which from a psychological point of view turns out to be a mythological correlate of affective corporeality).
