Russian linguaculture and mythopoetics in American literary works by writers of Russian Heritage

This article focuses on American writers of Russian descent who write in their dominant language, incorporating elements from their linguacultural heritage. The article analyzes linguacultural features of bilingual and bicultural writers Patricia Polacco and Nicholas Kotar, who are also heritage language speakers. Heritage language speaking writers are a part of the evolving bilingual and bicultural creativity in contemporary American literature.
