The review describes the Dictionary as an original work that incorporates both current findings in linguistics and techniques of teaching Russian for foreign students, bilinguals, all people for whom Russian is not a native language. The Dictionary is destined to become a desk book for parents in Russia who are engaged in a difficult and important task of helping their children to conceive and understand the originality and depth of Russian language and culture.
