The philosophical depth of the concept of relationship in the art world of the novel F.M. Dostoevsky “the Idiot”

This article is devoted to the problem of semantic filling of the concept “relationship” in the world of the novel “the Idiot” of F.M. Dostoevsky. The article shows how the relationship idea has organized an artistic structure, “cemented” episodes, “rhymes” different plot situations. System images are also constructed by the writer on the principle of kinship/ non-kinship, while kinship is understood not only in a genetic way. All this has allowed a deeper understanding of idea of the novel, the artistic mission for the author.

In the art world of “the Idiot” no family – free, love unity of people. Myshkin is ready to understand and accept every man, ready to form a family. But others are not ready. This is the tragedy of the hero. But it is a tragedy of others. One person cannot enter into this energy of spirituality, which is enough for everything and everyone. Dostoevsky wanted to say that the energy of spirituality can be born and maintained only if the related unity, the Cathedral the faithful of souls.
