Between September 23 and September 26, 2015, the A.M. Gorky Institute of World Literature, the S.A Esenin Ryazan State University, the S.A. Esenin state Museum-reserve has been hosting the International scientific Symposium to Sergei Esenin. It marked the 120th anniversary of his birth. The organizers of Symposium were the A.M. Gorky Institute of World Literature, the S.A Esenin Ryazan State University, the S.A. Esenin state Museum-reserve, the S.A. Esenin Moscow state Museum, the S.A. Esenin international association «Radunitsa».
