The object of the author’s research: dialect prepositions, conjunctions and particles recorded after a resident of the village Mekhonskoye, Kurgan region. Some of these functional words have not yet been the subject of description in educational and methodological literature. Types of dialects and their use in speech are analyzed. The traditional classification of dialect words, normally applied to significant parts of speech, have appeared likewise useful in describing prepositions, conjunctions, particles.
