Poetics of ornithological in the novel “An evening with Claire” by Gajto Gazdanov

The article reviews the image of a sparrow and the image of a canvas-back, that occupy one of the dominant position in the system of bestiary in the novel “An evening with Claire”. The analysis of the images of auditory memory and character onomastic marking resulted detection of a number of additional sub-texts, among them — the intertextual relations the novel of Gazdanov with the world cosmogonic myths, the creation of M. Krinitsky, I. Ehrenburg.
