Dragon and Div, Afridun’s treasure and Suleiman ring: Sufi interpretation

Given is Sufi analysis of the poem “Farhad and Shirin” by Ali-Shir Nava’i. Studied are Sufi values of two evils: dragon and div, facing the main hero Farhad on his way to the country Junon (Greece) where lived wise Socrates, and Sufi values of two marvels: Afridun’s treasure and Suleiman ring, which is seized by Farhad after killing the dragon and div. Also given is Sufi interpretation of solicitude, wine, oneness, multiplicity.
