An attempt to single out Persian lexical loan-words from the lexical word-stock of modern Turkish language, to define their quantitative composition and place in the vocabulary of the adopting language is made in this article. An attempt to give a presentive-thematic classification of the loan-words, to reveal their semantic characteristics and phonetic changes of the Iranian words atthe new linguistic ground, as well as to define the processes running during the morphological assimilation of Persian loan-words in considering languages is also made in the article.
